CIS carrier lifetime measurement system |

The Copper Indium Selenide (CIS) solar cell - measuring system permits an automated characterization of the lifetime of minority charge carriers in CIS solar cells. The system can be installed within the production line.
As confirmed by studies in research and production labs, the CIS carrier lifetime correlates to a very good degree quantitatively with the efficiency of solar cells. Therefore a simple optical measurement on unprocessed layers provides a precise quality control for the CIS production or permits a fast optimization of the efficiency of the cells.
