Fabry Perot lasers in the near and mid infrared wavelength regions PDF Print E-mail
nanoplus provides high performance Fabry Perot (FP) lasers emitting over wide parts of the near and mid infrared spectral range. These lasers are characterized by longitudinally multimode spectra. Application areas for cost effective FP lasers in the near and mid infrared regions include e.g. sensing in wavelength regions where the characteristic absorption line of the gas or liquid species to be detected is well separated from any other interfering absorption bands.

For near infrared applications nanoplus is proud to be the only manufacturer of Fabry Perot laser diodes worldwide fabricating lasers at any wavelength your application requires between 760 nm and 2900 nm.
For mid infrared applications nanoplus is fabricating Fabry Perot quantum cascade lasers in a number of wavelength ranges between 7 µm and 12µm.

All lasers are produced at nanoplus by fully traceable, well documented production processes in accordance with the ISO 9001 certification of our company.

In the near infrared, Ridge Waveguide and Broad Area FP laser diodes are available. In the mid infrared, devices are based on Ridge Waveguide structures. By choosing the appropriate ridge widths, laterally monomode lasers can be obtained. Otherwise, the FP devices are laterally multi mode. In both wavelength ranges, lasers are available in different standard packaging options as well is with customer-specific packaging.
